Power cuts in Hunan and Shandong regions

Sep. 22, 2021 - Tight power supply, dual control of energy consumption, power curtailment, and production suspension are affecting at least more than 10 provinces, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guangxi, Yunnan, etc.!

Since September 22, main ceramic production areas such as Linyi Shandong and Hunan have also started to curtail electricity. Many local ceramic companies have reduced or stopped production.

In addition, the prices of coal and raw materials have been increased, many ceramic companies are preparing for the irising cost.

On September 25, a ceramic company in northern China announced that they stop production until February 15, 2022, because coal prices have been increased. It seems that they are taking holiday for the Chinese New Year in advance.

Time for an upgrade.
